Eligibility Criteria
Candidates for positions as Jail Warders must have completed Class 12 and exceed physical requirements, which include a minimum height of 170 cm, a chest size of 81–85 cm, and passing a physical exam that includes a 1600-meter run in six minutes, a 13-foot-long jump, and a 3.9-foot-high leap.
While technical positions like lab technician require a B.Sc. and two years of experience, PGT instructors need a postgraduate degree with a B.Ed.
Pay Scale & Selection Process
For positions as Jail Warders, the selection process consists of a written exam and a physical assessment.
For Jail Warder, successful applicants will be paid according to Pay Level-3 (₹21,700 to ₹69,100), while PGT and higher positions would be paid according to the 7th Pay Commission guidelines.
