Regarding this position: Wells Fargo is looking for a Corporate Security Guard Associate.

In this position, you’ll:
- Protect the company’s property, assets, workers, guests, and entrances and exits by assisting the Corporate Security functional area in preventing theft, vandalism, incursion, and natural hazards; regulate pedestrian and vehicle access to the building in accordance with established protocols.
- Carry out regular customer service, operational, and security duties, patrol, and police the area to safeguard people and property.
- Fill out the necessary daily reports and logs.
- Address and resolve security issues and maintenance requirements for alarm systems that come up at work.
- Work closely with internal groups to ensure that escalation guidelines are followed in accordance with written procedures. Interact with other security guards, internal and external customers, Security Response Center analysts, and vendors in support of basic security responsibilities. Refer questions that are not directly addressed by written procedures to the escalation person or groups specified in the procedures.
- Maintain stated procedures while offering excellent customer service.
- Get instructions from the supervisor and corporate security officers on a regular basis.
- Create work orders, assist vendors with equipment repairs, and record the resolution procedure.

Qualifications Required:
- 6+ months of Corporate Security, surveillance and alarm experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education
- Valid Armed Security Officer license – NCPPSB
- 21+ years of age
Ideal Requirements:
- license to carry a 9 mm weapon
- Knowledge of CCTV monitors and access control systems
- Have a certification in CPR and First Aid and have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office
- Experience with customer service
Expectations for the job:
- Capacity to work in a Wells Fargo office as designated by the company
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion is required.
- The ability to climb and descend stairs is a must.
- Standing for up to four hours
- A 20/20 vision correction and the absence of an irreversible hearing impairment are prerequisites.
- must satisfactorily finish all required firearms training, albeit each jurisdiction may have different requirements for carrying a gun.
- The ability to work on the weekends, holidays, and/or nights as needed or scheduled is a must.
- Shift rotation is required every six months or more frequently as needed.
