A strategic buildout project is being worked on by our Corporate & Investment Banking Front Office Quantitative Model Development Team. As our platform expands, this strategic move will improve our capacity to collaborate and provide our trading and sales partners with exceptional quality and service.

The position of Securities Quantitative Analytics Director, an Executive Director level position in the Corporate & Investment Banking division (CIB), is open at Wells Fargo. With an emphasis on forecasting, optimization, and risk mitigation, the chosen candidate will work with a team that develops and implements quantitative models and tools for interest rate risk management, trading, and pricing.

This is a strategic endeavour to develop new models that will be incorporated into a quantitative risk and trading platform for holistic markets. The Front Office Interest Rates quant group will lead the specific work, which will be included into CIB’s cross-asset-class platform.

In this position, you’ll:

  • Quantitative models for interest rate risk management, trading tactics, and interest rate product pricing are designed, developed, and implemented.
  • Work with other Quants to develop, integrate, and implement optimization-based curve construction, contributing knowledge of pertinent software design, implementation, and performance optimization.
  • Communicate and collaborate with business stakeholders, other quantitative teams, technology, and project management in an efficient manner.
  • Provide top-notch software and documentation by adhering to our Agile-based SDLC approach and standardized planning.
  • Ask queries concerning deployed models to assist the trading desk.
  • Engage in proactive, sophisticated software design and development tasks in an Agile setting.
  • Participate in extensive project planning by striking a balance between immediate and long-term goals.
  • Utilize cutting-edge technologies and quantitative analysis to tackle challenging business issues.
  • Fulfill deliverables while abiding by rules, regulations, and compliance specifications.
  • To solve problems and accomplish objectives, cooperate and confer with peers, coworkers, and project managers.
  • Build consensus and communicate effectively with all project stakeholders.
  • Act as a mentor to employees with less experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • The most applicable coding languages are C++ and Java, with a focus on numerical optimization.
  • Market expertise in one or more of the following domains, as well as familiarity with derivative products: exchange rates and foreign currency For Sarkari jobs

  • PhD in mathematics, computer science, or computational finance, or something equivalent.
