2025 IAF Civilian Group C Eligibility Requirements
The following requirements for eligibility must be fulfilled by candidates:
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC): a graduate of an accredited board with a 12th grade diploma. a computer typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi.
- Hindi Typist: Graduate of a recognized board with a 12th grade diploma. a computer typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi. Storekeeper: 12th grade or higher from an accredited university or board. Experience managing stores and maintaining accounting in a reputable public or private sector establishment is preferred.
- Driver of Civilian Mechanical Transport (Ordinary Grade): Completion of matriculation or an equivalent degree from an accredited university or board. For both light and heavy vehicles, a valid civil driving license is required. Professional driving abilities and an understanding of motor mechanisms are required. a minimum of two years of motor vehicle driving experience.
- Ordinary Grade Cook: Graduate of an accredited school with a catering degree or diploma. One year of commercial experience.
- Skilled Painter: 10th grade from an accredited school or board. An Industrial Training Institute certificate in painting from an accredited institution OR an ex-serviceman with the relevant trade, such as painting.
- Skilled Carpenter: 10th grade from an accredited school or board. Institute for Industrial Training either an ex-serviceman in the relevant skill, such as carpenter rigger, or a certificate in the craft from an accredited institution.
- Housekeeping Staff (HKS): Completion of matriculation or an equivalent degree from an accredited university or board.
- Laundryman: Required: Completion of matriculation or an equivalent degree from an accredited university or board. One year of Dhobi experience from an organization or institute is preferred.
- Mess Staff: Must have a matriculation certificate or an equivalent degree from an accredited university or board. One year of experience working as a waiter or washer up for a company or institution is preferred.
- Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): Required: Completion of matriculation or an equivalent degree from an accredited university or board. One year of experience working for an organization or institute as a watchman, lascar, gestetner operator, or gardener is preferred.
- Vulcanizers include former service members in the relevant trade or graduates of a recognized university or board with a matriculation degree or equivalent.
Important Dates for IAF Group C Recruitment 2025
- Notification Published in Employment News on July 17–23, 2025.
- Application Start Date: The application procedure starts on the day the advertising is published.
- The application must be submitted within 30 days of the advertisement’s publication date, which is roughly by July 17, 2025, or July 23, 2025, for remote places.
How to Apply for 2025 IAF Civilian Group C Jobs
- Depending on the openings and requirements, qualified applicants may submit applications to any Air Force Station.
- Prepare the application using the format (typed in Hindi or English) specified in the official notification.
- Make that the application has self-attested copies of all necessary supporting documentation.
- Certificates of Educational Qualification.
- Age-proof.
- certificates of technical qualification (if any).
Certificate of Experience (if applicable).
Caste Certificate (given by qualified civil authorities to candidates who are SC, ST, OBC, or EWS). Candidates who are OBC must make sure their caste is on the Central List and provide proof that they are not from the creamy layer.
Candidates for EWS must have a current Income & Asset Certificate for the 2025–2026 fiscal year (based on income for FY 2024–2025).

- Attach a current, self-attested passport-size photo to the application.
- Add any additional self-attested supporting documentation.
- A self-addressed envelope with a postage stamp of Rs. 10/-pasted on it is enclosed. Type the address in either Hindi or English.
- “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ______ AND CATEGORY ______” should be prominently displayed on the envelope.
- Within 30 days after the advertisement’s publication date, submit your application to the appropriate Air Force Station. For every position, a different application needs to be sent.
- Include two more passport-sized photos, the same ones that are attached to the application.
