RBI Grade B 2025 Eligibility Criteria
To become an RBI Grade B Officer, candidates must meet the Reserve Bank of India’s official eligibility requirements, which include being between the ages of 21 and 30 as of July 1, 2025 (i.e., born between July 2, 1995, and July 1, 2004), with the upper age limit extended to 32 years for M.Phil. holders and 34 years for PhD holders. While SC/ST/OBC/Pd.D. candidates may attempt Phase 1 up to six times, the General stream requires a minimum of 60% in any discipline upon graduation, or a postgraduate degree with 55% (pass marks for reserve categories); the DEPR and DSIM streams require a master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, or related fields (or related) with at least 55%.have no cap on attempts, provided they meet the eligibility age.
