RBI Grade B 2025 Eligibility Criteria

While SC/ST/OBC/Pd.D. candidates may attempt Phase 1 up to six times, the General stream requires a minimum of 60% in any discipline upon graduation, or a postgraduate degree with 55% (pass marks for reserve categories); the DEPR and DSIM streams require a master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, or related fields (or related) with at least 55%.have no cap on attempts, provided they meet the eligibility age. 2. A valid marriage certificate, affidavit, or Gazette Notification in both original and photocopy form is required for female applicants who changed their name or surname after getting married.
3. Candidates who wish to claim reservation or relaxation advantages and fall under any of the following categories—SC, ST, OBC, Pd.D., EWS, or ex-servicemen—must possess the necessary certifications in the format specified.
4. Candidates are not allowed to change categories during the screening process. Each candidate must provide valid documents to prove their eligibility for reserve benefits.
5. A Pd.D. candidate requesting a reservation must fulfil the eligibility requirements set forth in the “Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPWD) Act 2016.”
6. If an unfortunate circumstance causes a candidate to become physically incapacitated during the selection process, they must present legitimate documentation demonstrating a disability of 40% or more, as defined by the RPWD Act of 2016, to be eligible for reservation benefits.
7. Those candidates who identify as widows are not eligible for any age relaxations.
